Lobby for check in is actually on the second floor. Easy to get to from airport, direct bus which stops a block away from the hotel. I stayed for one night but this might be better for more extended stays, with the kitchenette being included. Whole Foods right next door for fresh food. Lots of shops and eateries in the immediate neighborhood. Close to attractions including the Nascar Hall of Fame and the convention center. The surrounding area is very walkable and touristy. Overall decent value for being in the heart of downtown Charlotte.
